It was easy to give up my life for Doug.  The hard part was being used by his unappreciative guardian.  After over 4 years of sacrifice, she chose to flush me away like I never existed.  Poor Doug.  He loses everything he loved because of his guardian's stubborn selfishness.  She wanted "more control".  I cannot understand how anyone could chose to have Doug suffer more, just to prove a point!  This is an ongoing act of torture for this young man.  He is suffering now because one person has to prove she can make him suffer?  Life is SO UNFAIR!  I can hardly wait for the "comes around" part.

We are actively trying to organize camping trips and other outings for multichallenged individuals and their caregivers.  If interested please let me know.  We are also seeking sponsors and volunteers to help make this happen.  I like to take Doug somewhere special at least once a month and want to share this experience with others.  So far we have tentative plans for April, May and June.  The rest of this year is still open...

(In April we may be going to Campland on the Bay in San Diego.  I am trying to raise some funds to take Doug on an Amtrak adventure in May.  Hopefully I'll get some tax money back this year to put towards these trips.  In June I'm taking Doug to Camp Tatiyee!http://www.arizonalionscamp.com/  )
